AIS Application Operation

The AIS application is the gateway to open banking services. It lets you permission our Firm to download your account transaction data and send it to the processor you have chosen to produce your account analysis.
When you open the AIS application it will provide you with our terms & conditions and account access permission. When we receive your acceptance, the application will redirect you to your payment account provider’s online account login. If your login is successful, your provider will send us unique credentials to download your data. The credentials are for data only and cannot be used to make transactions.

•    Text alternatives: All icons and images include appropriate alt text.
•    Adaptability: The widget supports screen readers and other assistive technologies.
•    Contrast: We maintain sufficient contrast between text and background – customer customizations can have different layouts, but all following this approach.
•    Multimedia alternatives: Not applicable – the widget does not include audio or video.
•    Clear structure: Semantic HTML and proper headings are used for clarity.

Operable
•    Keyboard accessibility: All functions are accessible via keyboard.
•    Timing: No time-sensitive content is present.
•    Flashing content: No flashing elements are used.
•    Navigation: The interface is consistent and easy to navigate.
•    Focus indicators: Visible focus styles are implemented.

•    Readable content: Text is simple and clear – as far as it is possible, we also have to include legal contents which have a certain degree of complexity.
•    Predictable behaviour: The widget behaves consistently across use cases.
•    Error handling: Input validation and feedback are provided.
•    Assistance mechanisms: Not applicable – the widget does not require complex input.
•    Avoiding redundant input: Users are not asked to re-enter previously provided data.

•    Browser compatibility: The widget is tested across major browsers and current assistive technologies.
•    Valid HTML and ARIA roles: We follow best practices for markup and accessibility roles.
•    Accessible authentication: Not applicable – authentication is handled outside the widget.
•    Drag-and-drop alternatives: Not applicable – no drag-and-drop functionality is used.
•    Target size: Interactive elements meet accessibility size standards.

Ongoing Compliance
Our AIS Application was tested for compliance with EN 301 549 in April 2025. The test was carried out by our internal compliance & Information Technology teams.
